Role and Duties:
1. To provide efficient and effective day-to-day management of the workshop and store.
2. Work together and manage all employees employed at the workshop and ensure a high level of motivation, discipline and morale is maintained and that individual potential is encouraged and develop where possible and identify any training needs, both on job and formal, depending on individual circumstances.
3. TO establish and maintain a strong and professional working relationship with all Managers and all other customers, both internal and external.
4. Perform and supervise all facets of corrective workshop body dump truck equipment.
5. Verify that all repairs have been rectified prior to releasing the vehicle/equipment and initiating work order closure.
6. Ensure that all equipments, maintenance and repair work is carried out in the most cost effective manner but also in accordance with our clients procedures and to manufacture's specifications.
7. Document all tasks completed, order spare parts and maintain related records.
8. Ensure that all labor hours are properly accounted for and also ensure that all parts, supplies, tools and equipment are correctly accounted.
9. Maintain all equipment within the highest standard.
10. Carry out your managerial responsibilities in accordance with our clients policies and applicable laws.
11. Interviewing, hiring and training employees, planning ,assigning,and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
12. To ensure all workshop operations are complies with HSE procedures.
Role and Duties:
1. Responsibility of the IT system including developing and implementation IT strategies and solution to achieve the business objective.
2. Manage IT projects from conceptualization to implementation in accordance with business need.
3. Liaise with vendors to ensure the best service and support for the system and projects.
4. Administration of LAN, firewell and backup system.
5. Email system and other proprietary administration systems.
6. Implement and improve IT procedure, workflow and policies.
7. Provide software installation/configurations/maintenance services.
8. Perform basic hardware/network maintenance and management.
9. Handle and screen telephone calls and visitors.
10. General support for business administration.
11. Organizing and scheduling management meetings, make travel arrangements.
1. Good understanding of steel fabrication & planning capabilities.
2. Manage purchasing activity, develop and implement procurement strategy, formal process & policies.
3. Define and implement KPI's and ensuring cost effective purchases.
4. Optimize and manage inventory, provide statistic and report.
5. Manage and track existing contracts, retain and monitor existing contracts.
6. Negotiable framework agreement.
Education and Qualifications:
1. Degree in an Engineering/Technical Discipline (1).
2. Diploma/Degree in IT (2).
3. Minimum D3 in Mechanical Background (3).
4. At least 5 years experience in workshop managerial position, with accomplishments (1).
5. Minimum 3 years of experience in the same capacity (2).
6. Minimum 5 years working in the same capability.
7. Knowledge of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 or similar (1).
8. Excellent communication, presentation and report writing skills (1&2).
9. English fluency in verbal and writing is a mandatory (1 & 2).
10. Willing to travel (1).
11. Proficient with computer literacy, minimum MS Word, Excel and Power Point, knowledge of maintenance and repair technique (1).
12. Posses an excellent knowledge of all mechanical and electrical systems, including diagnostics checks, technical inspections and complete workshop repairs on varied heavy and light vehicles, generators and other mechanical equipment, including material handling equipment (1).
13. Has the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. You will be able to write routine reports and correspondence and able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization (1).
14. A detail oriented person and highly organized, posses strong leadership and good communication skill (1).
15. Ability to fit in to an international dynamic and multi-cultural environment (1).
16. Ability to work/communicate with people to provide quality support (2).
